What is Dolomite?
Dolomite is a sedimentary rock that was formed on the surface of the earth. It is slightly harder than marble but softer than granite and quartzite. It usually has a white or light-gray color and is similar to marble and quartzite. Dolomite is a very durable natural stone and is also reistant to heat and wear and tear. Each slab is very unique and has it’s own veinging that cannot be reproduced since it’s a natural stone. Although it’s not as popular as other stones, it’s a great stone for your kitchen countertops.

Care for Dolomite

Dolomite is heat-resistant and long lasting. To keep it in good shape, make sure to seal it often and to not leave spills to seek in the stone.
